Build a recognizable wristband family.
Coordinate colors and repeat patterns across the strap and RFID tag.

Clear guest categories. Use color and lettering to distinguish guests, days or access tiers.
Separate artwork areas. Plan strap repeats and tag artwork together so both remain readable when worn.
Wristband customization.
Compare finishes, artwork, closures and the RFID tag. Selected options carry into your quote brief.

Full-color on polyester.
Dye sublimation prints colors, gradients and graphics onto the polyester strap. The front and back use independent artwork; woven yarn artwork is a different process.
Full-color dye sublimation on polyester; woven requires a separate product specification.
Strap and tag artwork.
Use coordinated colors for guest categories or different event days. Set strap repeats and tag artwork separately, with lettering readable around the wrist.
Create your own artwork directionAn adjustable event fit.
The default black plastic barrel / security slider holds the two band tails. Include wear duration and removal needs in the brief so the hardware arrangement follows the event policy.
A separate RFID tag.
The external two-slot tag sits on the same continuous strap. Artwork, chip and encoding are specified together for the intended interaction.

RFID & NFC options.
Choose the intended use first. Then match the chip and encoding to the phone interaction or event platform.
NFC links for your audience.
Use NFC fabric wristbands to open an event page, campaign content or registration link on a compatible phone. Plan the destination URL and who maintains the linked content.
- NTAG213: 144 bytes; NTAG215: 504 bytes of user memory.
- 13.56 MHz · NFC Forum Type 2 · ISO/IEC 14443-A.
- Encode and test the NDEF link before locking the tag; URL taps are not a payment system.
Credentials for event access.
Match the wristband credential to your admission platform and readers. Access rules and any cashless transactions are managed by the compatible event system, not by a URL tag alone.
- DESFire EV3 configurations for managed applications.
- Memory, application structure, keys and provisioning follow the platform.
- Confirm the complete tag and reader combination with a configured sample.
Build around what you use.
Already have an event or access platform? Keep the required chip, reader model and encoding workflow at the centre of the brief.
- Include the required IC part number, protocol and reader model.
- Define data mapping and provisioning responsibilities.
- A shared frequency alone does not establish compatibility.

For managed systems, validate the complete chip, antenna, encoding and reader setup before rollout.

What is NDEF?
A standard way to store NFC content, such as a web link, so a compatible phone knows what to open.
What is provisioning?
Preparing a credential for a managed system: its applications, data and keys, following the platform provider’s requirements.

Fabric wristband
FAQs.
Is this wristband printed or woven?
This product uses full-color dye sublimation on polyester for gradients and detailed graphics. Woven artwork uses colored yarn and requires a separate specification; it is not the printing mode in this Studio. Strap and external tag artwork use separate design areas; the proof checks placement and legibility.
Which chip is right for my event?
NTAG213 is a practical starting point for an encoded web link; NTAG215 offers more user memory. For controlled admission or cashless platforms, follow the system provider’s chip and provisioning requirements. DESFire EV3 supports managed applications, but the reader and software must support the selected configuration.
Will every wristband work with a phone?
A compatible NFC phone can open a web link stored as an NDEF record. Phone model, settings and tag placement affect the interaction. Access credentials may need dedicated readers or apps. Sharing a frequency does not make chips or systems interchangeable.
Which closure is included?
The default is a black plastic barrel / security slider for adjustable event wear. Choose the retention policy for your audience and review the final hardware arrangement with the artwork proof. The product image alone does not establish mechanical tamper resistance.
Can I design the back and RFID tag separately?
Yes. BandWove Studio has independent Front artwork, Back artwork and RFID Tag Artwork surfaces. The band defaults to 350 × 15 mm, with a 350 × 20 mm option; the separate PVC tag artwork envelope is 35 × 25 mm. Tag slot and corner geometry belongs to the order proof.
How should I supply artwork?
Supply an editable PDF, AI or SVG with text outlined and color references included. A high-resolution PNG or JPG can serve as a visual reference. Keep key text clear of tag slots and the closure. Review strap repeat, tag artwork and fine detail on the proof before approval.
Can the tags carry individual numbers or URLs?
Specify printed serial numbers, encoded URLs or both in your brief. A printed number, chip UID and encoded record are different identifiers; define how they should map. Share the data file and platform instructions. NDEF links and secure access credentials require different preparation.
What determines quantity, price and delivery?
Include your total quantity, design split, destination and required arrival date. Pricing and minimum quantities depend on construction, chip and encoding. The quotation confirms order quantity and schedule, including artwork approval and shipping; a required event date alone does not confirm delivery.
Can I see a proof before ordering?
Review the strap repeat, tag artwork, dimensions, closure and any printed numbering before production approval. An artwork proof checks appearance and placement; it does not establish RFID compatibility. For a new integration, test a configured sample with the intended reader and platform.
