Your information, clearly explained

Privacy Notice

This notice explains what information BandWove handles when you browse the site, work on a wristband design or contact us about a project.

Information we handle

What we receive depends on how you use BandWove:

  • Contact enquiries: your name, business email, optional company, subject and message.
  • Quote requests: contact and destination details, wristband selection, quantity, product configuration, RFID/NFC requirements, notes, and any artwork or editable Studio project you choose to attach.
  • Studio work: designs, product settings, uploaded artwork and previews are saved in browser storage on the device you use so you can return to your draft. You can clear the Studio draft in the editor or remove the site’s stored data through your browser.
  • Basic technical and security data: hosting and security services may process request information such as IP address, browser details, timestamps and requested URLs to deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose faults.

How we use information

We use enquiry details to understand and respond to a product, design or technical question; prepare a requested quotation; maintain the related business record; protect the site and investigate misuse; and meet legal obligations. We do not use a wristband’s NFC tag to collect visitor behavior. If a tag links to a campaign page, that destination’s operator controls its own analytics and privacy practices.

Where a privacy law requires a legal basis, the applicable basis may include taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing an agreement, complying with law, protecting the service, or your consent for optional technologies. The basis depends on the activity and your location.

Design drafts and uploaded files

Studio drafts and source artwork stay in your browser storage until you clear them or remove the site data from your browser. If you submit a quote request with files, the request and files are handled as part of that project record and are not published as public downloads.

We retain business enquiries and project files only for as long as needed to handle the request, maintain relevant business records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect our rights. The period can depend on the type of record and applicable law. You can ask us about a particular record using the contact details below.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses browser storage needed for features you choose, including keeping editable Studio and quote drafts on your device. Your browser controls whether site data is retained and lets you remove it.

We do not currently load optional third-party analytics or advertising tags on the website. If we introduce optional measurement or advertising, those tools may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage or device identifiers to measure visits and campaign results, attribute conversions, limit repeated ads or build audiences for advertising on other services. Examples used across the industry include analytics and advertising tools from Google and Meta, as well as comparable providers. Where consent is required, we will ask before those optional technologies run and provide a way to change that choice. We will update this notice to identify the providers and relevant choices when such tools are enabled.

Links to social networks open their own services. Those providers may collect information under their own privacy notices when you visit or interact with them.

Service providers and international processing

We use service providers only where needed to host and protect the website, store a submitted request, verify that a form is not automated, or deliver a requested business notification. Depending on the service configuration, these may include Cloudflare infrastructure and Turnstile, and an email delivery provider. Providers process information under their own service terms and applicable data protection arrangements.

These providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will use the required mechanism.

Security

We use access controls and technical measures intended to protect enquiry records, design files and website operations. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in artwork or project notes unless it is needed for your request.

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may be able to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, or request a copy of information you provided. You can also clear drafts stored in your browser. To make a privacy request, email info@bandwove.com and tell us how to identify the relevant enquiry; please do not send identity documents unless we ask for a secure method. We may need to verify your request before acting.

You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We will respond in line with the requirements that apply to your request.

Children

BandWove’s website and business enquiry tools are intended for business customers and adults planning events or venue programs. They are not designed to collect information directly from children.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our services, data practices or legal obligations change. The updated date at the top shows when the current version was published.
